The Three Pillars
Where we give, on purpose.
Three places where a fee-only fiduciary firm has more to offer than money — and three places where time, expertise, and a real check actually move the needle.
Pillar 01
Financial Education
Plain-language fiduciary literacy for the people the industry priced out.
Most financial advice is sold by the people who profit from selling it. Real education shouldn’t be. We bring fee-only, no-commission financial education into communities the industry has historically ignored — with the same rigor we use for high-net-worth clients, in language anyone can use.
What we do
- ·Low-cost or no-cost workshops at libraries, community centers, and employer ERGs
- ·Plain-language guides on tax, debt, retirement, and estate basics
- ·Live Q&A sessions with no product pitch and no sign-up wall
“Most financial advice is sold by the people who profit from it. Education shouldn’t be.”
Pillar 02
Local Natural Resources
Clean, local water — the most essential resource we share.
Of every natural resource we depend on, water is the most local and the most universal. Grounded Gives™ directs funding and team volunteer hours to watershed protection, river cleanup, and rural water access in the regions our team and clients call home. The work compounds where we live.
What we do
- ·Annual giving partnerships with local watershed and conservancy nonprofits
- ·Team volunteer days for river cleanups and habitat restoration
- ·Funding for clean-water infrastructure in underserved rural communities
“The most grounded thing you can give back is to the ground itself.”
Pillar 03
Pro Bono Planning
Reduced-fee and pro bono fiduciary planning for the households who need it most.
A real financial plan can change a family’s trajectory. Most families never see one because the work is priced out of reach. We dedicate planning hours every year to teachers, first responders, the recently widowed, single parents, and transitioning veterans — same fee-only fiduciary planning as our paying clients, no strings attached.
What we do
- ·Reserved pro bono planning hours for qualifying households each year
- ·Partnerships with nonprofits serving educators, first responders, and veterans
- ·No referral fees, no conversion targets, no follow-up sales pressure
“The work that changes lives shouldn’t only reach those who can afford the bill.”
