The Founder
Twenty years. One standard.
After years at larger organizations, Nicholas Tilli decided to build something different — a practice designed around the belief that a financial practice should serve a life, not the other way around.
Nick has worked every level of this industry. From the phones to leading the wealth management division of a top-50 CPA firm. From national RIAs to global institutions including Fidelity Investments. Along the way, he saw firsthand how tax, estate, and financial planning either work together or quietly undermine each other.
He has consulted with top technology companies on equity compensation — the RSUs, the options, the concentrated positions, and the complexity that comes with them.
Grounded Wealth is what happens when you take that experience and build something from scratch — without the legacy structure, the product shelf, or the commission incentive. Just a fiduciary practice built around the way wealth management should have worked all along.
Nick lives in Minnesota with his wife, three kids, and two dogs. When he is not building Grounded Wealth, he is outside — near water if possible, frozen or otherwise.
